Well done Caradon A Ladies team for winning this year’s 3 Rivers Race! Ann Glanville has earned her keep today!
On this wet and windy day, the course was rough! The Coxes met at 9.00 a.m, with the Ladies race starting at 9.30 am.
In under 53 minutes, the Saltash ladies team completed the 5-mile course in great style. The men’s team took just 49 minutes to complete the grueling course but still left them third this year in the men’s race.
Falmouth with Black Rock won the men’s race with an excellent time of 48 minutes.
So the first three in for the ladies race was Saltash Caradon, followed very closely by Charlestown and a little way behind in 3rd place came Mounts Bay.
For the men’s Falmouth take it, in second place came Looe then Caradon for Saltash in 3rd place. Well done both teams!
Falmouth won the Men’s race leaving the Caradon A Men’s team in third place.
As in other years, the Men’s Race took place after the Ladies, at approximately 11.00 a.m.
