A search party is being organised to find a teenager who has been missing for three days.
Desperate friends and family of Celeste Smith, 19, a lifeguard at China Fleet Country Club, are gathering tomorrow morning, Saturday, to distribute fliers showing the teen’s photograph in the areas where she was last seen.
Fears are growing for the welfare of Celeste who was last seen travelling into Saltash on Tuesday January 31 at about 6pm.
Saltash Police who put out an appeal wrote: “Celeste, you are in no trouble. We are concerned for you and want to ensure you are ok. Please get in touch.”
She was wearing a leather jacket, a white shirt with black jeans and black shoes at the time she went missing.
Search party organisers have posted details of the meeting and plans for the search on Facebook, with friends adding to comments, putting forward suggestions of where they should search.
The search party is meeting outside the Union Inn at Saltash waterfront at 10am before teams will sweep through the town in Cornwall while others head into Plymouth.
Each person taking part will be handed fliers with a photograph of Celeste and basic details about her to hand out to as many people as possible in the area on Saturday.
